About the Learning Design Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition:
This is a key role on a fast-moving team: perfect for someone who’s energized by creating smooth, engaging learning experiences, loves keeping complex programs organized, and takes pride in supporting both learners and facilitators to shine. You’ll coordinate the end-to-end delivery of VFC’s ETA training programs — managing logistics, communications, materials, and speaker coordination to ensure every session runs seamlessly. You’ll help evolve our curriculum by translating expert insights into accessible, high-quality learning resources that reflect VFC’s pedagogy and commitment to equity and accessibility. You’ll also support ongoing evaluation by tracking learner feedback, outcomes, and improvements, all while maintaining clear documentation and internal systems. And through close collaboration with colleagues across Programs, Operations, and Events, you’ll contribute to major ETA milestones and community gatherings that strengthen the ecosystem and elevate the learner experience.
Role Responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Coordination
- Coordinate logistics and delivery for VFC’s ETA training programs (virtual and in-person).
- Support session preparation and follow-up, including materials, agendas, tech checks, event flow, and timing.
- Manage participant communications to ensure clarity, accessibility, and a strong learner experience.
Curriculum & Learning Experience Support
- Assist with updating, improving, and maintaining curricula and learning resources across ETA programs.
- Translate expert insights into accessible slides, worksheets, exercises, and other learning materials.
- Ensure all resources align with VFC’s pedagogy and uphold accessibility and equity standards.
- Explores and reports on tech options to improve virtual curriculum delivery.
Speaker & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support outreach, scheduling, and coordination with ETA practitioners such as investors, operators, lenders, and brokers.
- Prepare speakers for sessions through briefing notes, session outcomes, and logistical support.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Support data collection, learner surveys, and evaluation processes across ETA programs.
- Track learner feedback and outcomes, and surface actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain organized documentation, templates, and Notion/HubSpot resources.
Program Operations
- Maintain internal ETA resources including session templates, Notion hubs, slide decks, and schedules.
- Collaborate with Programs, Operations, and Events teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Contribute to planning and execution of major ETA events and community gatherings.
Job Requirements:
- Experience designing and delivering learning experiences (e.g., workshops, training, curriculum materials).
- Experience facilitating learning for groups, comfortable guiding discussions, supporting reflection, and managing group dynamics.
- Experience supporting the execution of events, whether virtual or in-person.
- Strong intellectual curiosity; excited to learn about ETA, M&A, small-business operations, and financing.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving pieces.
- Enjoys collaborating with subject-matter experts and shaping their insights into effective learning experiences.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace/Gmail, HubSpot, Slack, Zoom, and the Windows operating system are assets
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
