The Supply Chain Manager manages the activities involved in the production and distribution of our products to ensure the availability of inventory, to meet sales and operational demands.

We are seeking an experienced candidate who is confident and adept at working cross-functionally, with the ability to advocate effectively for the supply chain team. The ideal candidate will collaborate seamlessly with various departments while ensuring the needs and priorities of the supply chain are well-represented. You are someone who has experience with an MRP implementation project and who is ready to prioritize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and lead time improvements within our Supply Chain.

**Please note this role is temporary full-time up to May 2026 to cover a maternity leave. Possibility of extension is based on business needs.


What you will do:

Management and Reporting

  • Participate in the creating, defining and implementation of the supply chain strategy.
  • Establish, track and report KPIs and metrics to ensure optimal cost, operational performance and strategic alignment.
  • Provide reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) regarding supply chain, inventory and S&OP metrics.
  • Manage risks and develop contingency plans to accommodate changes and disruptions in the global supply chain.
  • Provide team leadership, coaching, performance feedback and development opportunities to the supply chain team.
  • Actively support and provide information and reporting related to inventory/financial audits.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of current and future market conditions that may affect the supply price or delivery of equipment, materials and subcontracted performance.

Operations

  • Oversee the establishment of standard operating procedures and guidelines to drive efficiency, consistency and compliance within the supply chain function.
  • Manage processes associated with requisitions, initiation of purchase orders according to specifications, and the order fulfillment cycle.
  • Supervise the management of labeling, documentation, insurance, freight forwarding, export /import documentation and clearance processes.
  • Analyze new product launches to determine new or changing requirements.
  • Identify slow moving product/inventory and oversee the development of plans with sales and product management to mitigate product obsolescence.
  • Management of inventory and consumables, including but not limited to setting min/max levels, cycle counts, year-end counts, and negative inventory review.
  • Responsible for optimization of purchasing processes through testing, documenting and implementation of ERP system improvements.
  • Recommend and implement improvements on existing processes, identify innovative solutions and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Actively seek to identify opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain operations.

Demand Planning

  • Oversee the forecasting of material consumption.
  • Manage the inventory of raw materials warehouse and ensure the material resources are consistent with production schedules.
  • Supervise the responses to changes in demand, and resolve problems that arise (ie. shortages, delays).
  • Oversee the coordination with Sales and refurb teams to receive accurate forecasts, and input into our tools to determine order requirements for the season.
  • Oversee the communication of necessary orders to the Supply Chain team and monitor high-risk orders.
  • Manage communications regarding shipments for AU and EU to meet demand requirements to the Supply Chain team and monitor high-risk shipments.
  • Supervise the reporting of shortages and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the MRP Specialist when leading weekly S&OP meeting with Sales and FS teams present.
  • Provide guidance and support to Pheromone Planner.

Vendor Relations

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with critical and complex vendors; own the business relationship, periodic business review, escalation path for conflict.
  • Supervise the sourcing and evaluation of new strategic/technical/complex suppliers; represent and promote the company to new suppliers.
  • Oversee the identification of new suppliers and negotiate supply agreements including discount structure, volume rebates and shipping costs.
  • Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
  • Develop strategies for purchasing long lead inventory.
  • Manage supplier contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Oversee the monitoring and review vendor performance.
