Agworld/Semios is seeking the right person to grow the New Zealand arm of our business through new business sales and the careful management and support of our existing customers.

Agworld/Semios is a leading provider of agricultural management software and solutions, committed to revolutionising the way farmers and agribusinesses operate. With a continuous presence in the New Zealand market since 2013, Agworld has been instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency in agriculture. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team in New Zealand.

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will have a crucial role in engaging with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, promoting Agworld's software solutions, and driving business growth. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure that our customers receive the necessary support and resources to fully utilise our products and achieve their business objectives. We are seeking someone who is not only passionate about agriculture but also Tech Optimistic, believing in the transformative power of technology to drive positive change in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to attract and onboard new customers in the agricultural sector of New Zealand.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, providing guidance and support on how they can leverage Agworld's solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for external stakeholders and customers, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote and utilise Agworld's solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Support, and Product teams, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal teams to inform product development and enhancements.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and differentiation.
