Martello is seeking a Sr. Account Executive responsible for growing Martello’s client base. You are committed to win and taking advantage of the untapped customer base that could benefit from Martello’s VantageDX product offering. You should have a proven track record of developing and executing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans; hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.

In this role you will...

  • Steer prospecting efforts (self-source) and receive qualified leads from the Business Development team to drive revenue generation and “net new” growth
  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region, owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Develop account plans for new relationships, building, maintaining and nurturing strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Leverage your existing network, strong prospecting, and social selling skills to develop C suite, and other key decision maker relationships to effectively grow and maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Possess a full understanding of customers’ specific decision-making and purchasing process, understanding their business needs and objectives
  • Navigate through enterprises to connect multiple buyers and influencers
  • Generate leads from trade shows and regional networking events
  • Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SaaS software sales experience (mid-market)
  • Great organizational skills; you strive to keep your pipeline organized and updated in a timely manner
  • You are coachable and accountable
  • You can be agile and flexible; as we continue to build the sales organization, you bring your ability to problem-solve, adapt, and grow quickly to aid in our journey
  • Motivated and focused on meeting and exceeding goals
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales automation tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and web conferencing tools
  • Experience selling Microsoft 365 and/or solutions bundled with MS365 deals considered an asset
