We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team of seasoned professionals to meet customer commitments and rapidly growing business needs.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are responsible for the safe transportation of liquid nitrogen from local production and storage facilities to customer locations. You will also operate a skid steer to load and unload microbulk liquid nitrogen tanks and deliver these tanks to customer locations. As the region expands, you will assume a leadership role to fully support their team members with hiring, initial and on-going training, and performance management as required.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide initial and ongoing training and support to new driver/operators.
  • Support hiring, training, and performance management of team.
  • Interface with customers to schedule refills, troubleshoot equipment and act as an ambassador of the company.
  • Review telemetry data and help set priorities for regional driver/operators to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Safely load/unload and transport liquid nitrogen in purpose-built trucks.
  • Safely load and deliver microbulk nitrogen tanks to customer locations.
  • Complete site assessments and leak check sites as needed.
  • Complete proper pre/post-trip safety inspections on truck and perform minor repairs (e.g., air leaks, lights, mudflaps).
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on company assets (tighten fittings, leak monitoring, and install / replace minor tank devices).
  • Complete health, safety and environment training and documentation as required.
  • Maintain working inventory of parts for Orca trucks and tanks.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on-time (e.g., logbooks, trip sheets, nitrogen fill tickets).

Qualifications

Required (Must have):

  • Valid Class A CDL (will consider Class B CDL).
  • Valid Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
  • Must meet all current DOT requirements.
  • Clean Drivers abstract with no more than 1 citation and 0 at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Valued (Nice to have):

  • Previous Cryogenic experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Off road oilfield hauling experience considered an asset.
  • Previous leadership experience.
