Job Description:

This role will assist in numerous aspects of the FP&A process for the Company. This role provides analysis and support for the Company’s internal budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes and perform detailed review and analysis of budget and prior year variances

  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts including data mining, analysis, upload submissions to forecast model, update and ensure accuracy of data

  • Assist in KPI identification and measurement and create reports related to those key business KPIs

  • Provide ad hoc, in-depth analysis on different business areas of the Company as well as within the industry

  • Generate and update monthly financial reports, coordinate and distribute departmental detail to operational managers

  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting support related to balance sheet and cash flow reporting

  • Run financial reports, populate Executive Reporting templates and prepare reports for management

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of the monthly reporting for Senior Management Team

  • Monitor annual budget monthly by comparing revenues and expenses by department

  • Serve as a liaison to the different departments within the finance/accounting group

  • Special projects and other tasks/responsibilities including supporting roll-out and adoption of new systems and tools

  • Collaborate closely and assist other team members through the monthly and quarterly processes as well as on adhoc projects

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 3+ years of related working experience

  • Overall understanding of financial statements as well as budgeting and budget analysis

  • Proven skills in analysis, statistics, and logic in developing and interpreting data

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using advanced functions for modeling

  • Insatiable curiosity to acquire deeper understanding of the business and financial results and trends

  • Strong work ethic including traits of persistence, thoroughness and attention to detail

  • Preference for working in office and closely collaborating with others in the team

  • Knowledge of SAP software platforms such as SAC, BPC and BW a plus

  • Experience in media and entertainment industry a plus

  • Public company experience a plus

Compensation:

75,599.00 - 105,000.00
