Job Description:
The Manager of FP&A is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis for the Theater, Product, and Sales (TPS) business of the organization. This role partners with all TPS business teams and senior leadership to deliver insights and ensure financial goals are met while also closely interfacing with the financial reporting and accounting team to make sure business drivers and financial results are well understood.
What You’ll Do:
Lead annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processes for the TPS business while engaging with the corporate FP&A team to ensure alignment to financial goals
Provide financial modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis to support business decisions and identify risks/opportunities
Prepare and present monthly management reporting packages with analysis of the drivers and trends within key financial and operational metrics
Partner with department heads to understand and challenge assumptions, and provide financial guidance and support
Consolidate financial data and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and models
Support executive leadership with ad hoc analysis, board materials, and strategic initiatives
Drive continuous improvement in all processes, reporting, and tools while collaborating with the corporate FP&A team on new system and tool adoption
Collaborate closely with Accounting and Tax to ensure thorough understanding of financial results drivers and proper reflection of trends within our forecasts and budgets
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
5+ years of related working experience
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with very high attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
Solid foundation of Accounting and previous work in or close collaboration with the Accounting organization
Self-starter with strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preference for working in office and closely collaborating with others in the organization
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced modelling skills
Knowledge of SAP software platforms such as SAC, BPC and BW a plus
Experience in media and entertainment industry a plus
Public company experience a plus
