Helcim is searching for an experienced Product Designer to join our Design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing functional, easy to use and delightful products for our merchants.

The Product Designer will work within the Design Team while collaborating with cross-functional business groups including Product Managers, Front-end and Backend engineers and Brand designers. The ideal candidate is passionate about design and technology, has an extensive knowledge of user experience methodologies and is able to execute on research findings, by creating modern and delightful visual experiences.

What you will do:

  • Design with purpose utilizing both research and creativity
  • Execute high quality visual design
  • Leverage creative thinking to continually explore different solutions, concepts and ideas
  • Conduct Design Studio sessions in a collaborative and thought-provoking environment
  • Work side by side product managers and developers
  • Collaborate closely to design system to continually improve the quality and the consistency of our Product UI/UX

Who you are:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience working in the UX design filed
  • Obsession for simplifying complex user experience flows
  • Great sensibility for design & aesthetics.
  • Have a research mindset that aims to investigate the problem, leverage UX methods to uncover findings and elaborate on solutions accordingly
  • Understanding of Lean/Agile approaches when researching and implementing solutions
  • Firm grasp of how to develop and work within design systems and patterns
  • Manage your time effectively by determining the right amount of time to invest in research activities and identifying which activities are best to inform your decisions.
  • Always willing to take constructive criticism
  • Collaborative attitude that prioritizes teamwork over individual work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, combined with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must provide a design portfolio showcasing UX design projects with beautiful hi-fi design mockups

Bonus Qualification:

  • Understanding of CSS/HTML
  • Experience designing complex or enterprise-level software
  • Experience in the fintech space
