About the Role:

Are you a creative storyteller with a sharp eye for design, social media savvy, analytical and an interest in building a brand that matters? Diversio is looking for a Marketing Intern to help us elevate our digital presence and visual storytelling.

In this role, you’ll support our marketing team by creating engaging LinkedIn content, editing short-form videos, designing assets for events and campaigns, and helping maintain our visual brand across channels. It’s a great opportunity to grow your portfolio and gain hands-on experience in B2B tech and purpose-driven marketing.

Part-time marketing interns at Diversio work between 20 hours per week, with flexibility built in. Interns are encouraged to manage their own schedules in alignment with academic and personal commitments, and are responsible for communicating their availability to their direct supervisor. Our leadership team is committed to ensuring that interns are never assigned more than they can reasonably balance.

What you will do:

  • Lead content creation for LinkedIn:
    • Write, schedule, and post along with graphics content aligned with our brand voice
    • Engage with comments and relevant conversations to grow community (groups, hashtags, news, influencers, 1-2 daily)
  • Edit short-form videos:
    • Repurpose webinars, interviews, and promo clips for social media
  • Design marketing materials:
    • Create graphics for events, ads, and campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn carousels, speaker promos, banners)
    • Support with visuals for decks, landing pages, and newsletters
    • Maintain consistency across brand templates, PNG/SVG assets, and guidelines
  • Support visual storytelling across channels:
    • Source imagery, support Google Slide/Deck creation, and refine branded templates
    • Comfortable using AI tools to support copywriting, design, or video editing workflows
  • Track and learn from performance:
    • Monitor social post analytics to optimize what we create next

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience managing LinkedIn, YouTube or other social media platforms
  • Comfort writing clear, compelling copy with a brand-aligned tone
  • Skills in graphic design using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or similar
  • Ability to edit videos in CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent
  • Ideally, experience working with sites like Framer to maintain and update website content or a willingness to learn about CMS and SEO.
  • Understanding of visual branding and file types (e.g., PNG, SVG, brand kits)
  • Great attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Interest in tech, culture, and making complex ideas visually engaging

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • In your third or final year of study
  • Familiar with tools such as Slack, ClickUp, Framer, and Google Workspace
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva Magic, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to support content creation workflows, including copy, design, or video
  • Strong skills in research, content creation, and presentation

You are:

  • A self-starter and collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Passionate about building better workplaces through inclusion and equity
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • A natural storyteller who builds strong relationships and communicates with clarity
  • Excited by the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven startup and grow with a dynamic team
  • Robust and resilient, and can work off your own initiative.

NOTE: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a brief creative assessment as part of the hiring process.
