About the Role
As a Facilitator & Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in delivering impactful learning experiences to our clients while also designing and customizing training content to meet their needs. You will facilitate interactive, engaging, and sometimes challenging discussions related to workplace inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility.
This role requires a balance of facilitation, instructional design, and client engagement, ensuring that training sessions align with our data-driven approach and provide tangible value to organizations.

- A creative learning professional with experience designing and delivering adult learning programs.
- Passionate about inclusion, equity, and workplace culture topics and eager to help organizations drive meaningful change.
- Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
This is a hybrid role with 25%+ travel across Canada (and potentially the USA) for in-person training delivery. While much of the work is remote, applicants must be comfortable with frequent travel for client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation & Client Engagement (60%)- Deliver engaging, interactive, and inclusive training sessions (virtually and in person) on workplace inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility topics.
- Lead discussions with diverse audiences, including employees, leaders, and executives, fostering an open and psychologically safe environment.
- Adapt facilitation style based on audience needs, industry, and organizational culture.
- Share relevant personal and professional experiences where appropriate to enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to clients based on session insights.
- Design and customize learning content based on client needs, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles.
- Develop interactive training materials, including slide decks, facilitator guides, and participant resources.
- Incorporate research, best practices, and emerging trends into course content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve training offerings.
- Manage multiple projects and training engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Keep project management tools and calendars up to date with training schedules and design tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine learning methodologies and improve training outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary degree in education, learning design, organizational development, or a related field.
- Facilitation Experience: Ability to lead discussions, manage confrontation professionally, and navigate sensitive topics with emotional intelligence.
- Adult Learning & Instructional Design: Experience developing and delivering training for adult learners.
- Knowledge of Inclusion & Workplace Culture Topics: Strong understanding of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility principles, HR practices, and workplace culture.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (French & English): Ability to facilitate training in both languages is a strong asset.
- Consulting or Business Experience: Experience in a professional services, consulting, or corporate training environment.
- Project Management Experience: Ability to manage multiple training engagements, stakeholders, and timelines effectively.
- Executive-Level Engagement: Comfort and experience delivering training to senior leaders and C-suite executives.
- eLearning Development Skills: Familiarity with tools such as Articulate 360, Absorb LMS, or other instructional design software.
