Title: EDU Learning Intern
Location: Remote within Canada
Type: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week
Compensation: $20/HR

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and currently enrolled in a degree program at a Canadian university.

About the role:
EDU Learning Intern at Diversio serves a critical role in helping executives and human resource professionals create more inclusive workplace cultures. You will succeed in this role if you enjoy data analysis and reporting, research on global inclusion trends, and building content on people and culture topics. We are looking for a dedicated, outgoing, self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to build relationships and learn more about the role in a startup ecosystem.
What you may work on:
- Content Creation: Assist in the development of instructor-led training content by conducting research, organizing materials, and enhancing presentation design for clarity and engagement.
- Research Support: Gather and synthesize information to support the development of new training content. Find updated stats, case studies, or examples for courses.
- Interactive Elements: Assist in creating interactive tools like quizzes, games, or branching scenarios for ILT and e-learning courses.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review existing materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Template Creation: Design templates for slide decks, participant guides, or project plans to streamline recurring tasks.
- Feedback Analysis: Review learner feedback from training sessions and help identify areas for improvement.
- Best Practices Documentation: Assist in documenting standard processes for course development, delivery, or evaluation.
- File Management: Organize shared drives, ensuring resources are easily accessible.
- Task Tracking: Help maintain project plans or task lists, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Tool Exploration: Test new software or apps to determine if they could enhance learning experiences.
- Media Creation: Use design tools like Canva or video editing software to enhance visuals in training materials.
You will likely have:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Communications, Learning & Development, Business or a related field, with coursework or interest in instructional design, curriculum development, or adult learning.
- Experience with presentation design, educational technology, or content development tools using Googlesuite would be beneficial but not required.
- Experience using Gen AI to support tasks
- Previous project management experience (co-ops/internships)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter attitude
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
- Fluency in French would be considered an asset.
