Your role as Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the mission of the Financial Analyst is to support Dialogue’s organic and inorganic growth initiatives and instill budgetary rigor across the organization by working in collaboration with Dialogue's senior management and providing sound recommendations to maximize the value for all our stakeholders. The research and analysis that you conduct will play a critical role in assessing new financial opportunities and initiatives that will help inform key business decisions. These decisions will include new initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities, drive revenue growth and sustainable profitability, improve operating efficiencies, and mitigate risk.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with the FP&A Manager to lead the monthly and quarterly forecasts, as well as the annual budget approval package for the board
  • Providing insightful and reliable recommendations to stakeholders regarding business performance, outlook, and special projects
  • Developing and maintaining financial models including our 5-year plan
  • Participating in post-acquisition integration, including tracking synergies and targets determined during the acquisition process

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • You have 1+ year of experience as a financial analyst
  • You are confident in your accounting, finance and analytical skills
  • You are able to influence and build positive relationships with organizational leaders
  • Your analytical skills and ability to deliver insightful conclusions set you apart
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills in French & English
  • CFA designation, an asset
  • Company valuation and/or financial statement analysis experience, an asset

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
