Bilingual Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager will provide support and coordination for Patient Support Programs (PSPs) and work with the Novartis PSP Operations Managers to deliver programs to meet defined expectations, deadlines and requests. This is a key supportive role and includes various tasks such as: oversight of placement personnel, reporting, research, training & development, translation, communication and various other responsibilities to ensure program delivery. This role uses data to analyze complex business challenges, generate actional insights, and improve PSP operations by managing data sources.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Novartis PSP Operations Manager in coordinating program activities.
- Oversight of assigned placement personnel including performance management.
- Ensuring all AE reporting, reconciliation, mandatory training, safety reporting, etc., are observed according to KPI.
- Providing support in answering emails regarding program inquiries.
- Assisting in performing such tasks such as quality control checks, report generation, research and training development.
- Assisting management in resolving program related issues.
- Communicating with management on administrative matters related to the programs.
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update management of program progress.
- Constantly seeking out and presenting ideas around continuous improvement and optimizing performance across the programs, functionally and technically.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously drive efficiencies to increase productivity and progress, increase profitability, and increase program efficiency.
- Collecting necessary data to support reimbursement cases and ensuring that all avenues to obtain public/private reimbursement are explored.
- Monitor the programs routinely and regularly to ensure optimal performance and alignment with program deliverables and objectives.

- English and French bilingualism (oral and written).
- Undergraduate or graduate degree with relative experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Health Care organization industries working with Patient Support Programs.
- Understanding of research and development processes for pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
- Experience in using platforms including but not limited to SalesForce (ePSP), SalesForce (Patient Connect), CRM/platforms of external partners (preferred).
- Experience in customer service, liaising with clients, and various cross functional teams.
- Proficiency using computerized information systems, internet, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic spreadsheets is required.
- $65,000 – $67,000 per year.
