The Senior Manager, Accounting is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing revenue recognition and inventory accounting while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations. This position plays a critical role in financial reporting, audit management, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee revenue accounting processes across the company and its subsidiaries
- Manage inventory accounting and ensure accuracy across all entities
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee subsidiary reporting, including local GAAP to IFRS conversions
- Lead the consolidation of subsidiary financials into group reporting packages
- Manage the audit process, including coordination with external auditors and resolution of findings
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Recruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team culture
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions, including profitability and cost analysis
- Oversee the project management office, including project budgeting
- Perform other related duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office
- SAP experience considered an asset

$115,000 – $125,000 annually plus an incentive program
