We are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Account Executive to drive new business within the healthcare sector. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and winning high-value opportunities, while building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a disciplined, insight-driven approach to sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at managing complex sales cycles. While experience with RFPs is important, this role is centered on proactive business development and strategic selling.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities aligned with strategic objectives
- Develop and execute account strategies to support long-term growth and expansion
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
- Build and maintain relationships with executive-level clients, identifying opportunities early in the buying cycle
- Leverage AI-driven tools and digital platforms to enhance prospecting and engagement
- Maintain a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting using HubSpot CRM
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions
- Create compelling proposals and value propositions (RFP and non-RFP)
- Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and buyer behavior to inform strategy and identify opportunities
- Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, risks, and opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management
- Proven success managing complex, long sales cycles with senior-level stakeholders
- Strong consultative and strategic selling skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Experience developing client-focused proposals aligned to the buying journey
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
- Familiarity with AI-enabled sales tools for prospecting and engagement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in the healthcare sector is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong sense of accountability, initiative, and adaptability
$110,000 – $130,000 + performance-based incentives/commission (commensurate with experience)
