We're building for the next 100 years and are actively building out our finance function in Ireland to support Clions in EMEA. Are you our next Junior Accounts Payable Specialist based in Dublin? We are distributed by design, and the successful candidate will have the ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to 3 days work from home per week.

What You’ll Work On:
As a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be a key member of our high-performing EMEA Finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the integrity of our accounts payable processes. Manage, approve, and send the money!

  • Process Ownership: Support the entire accounts payable cycle, including managing the AP inbox, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate vendor records.

  • Payment & Reconciliation: Coordinate with internal teams to get invoices approved, prepare weekly payment runs (wire, EFT, ACH, SEPA, BAC, etc.), and reconcile vendor statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Financial Operations: Prepare and post journal entries as required, assist with the month-end close process, and support tax-related documentation and reporting.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies, and help maintain financial accuracy by adhering to internal controls.

  • Tech Stack Improvements: Help roll our AP related systems in the international markets (Coupa Pay, Coupa Expenses, etc.)

  • Stakeholder Communication: Working internationally requires exceptional communication skills. You will be the point of contact for all things AP and need to be confident communicating our processes and controls.

  • Other Duties: Things move quickly at Clio, we buy companies, implement new technology, and scale teams rapidly. We need your skills to help us do it all.

What You May Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 1-3 years of experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable.

  • Ridiculous attention to detail.

  • The ability to wow people with your written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong work ethic, energetic, and a positive attitude.

  • An accounting credential (completed or in progress).

Serious Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Technology (SaaS) experience.

  • Experience working in a startup, hyper-growth, or public accounting environment.

  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Experience working with Coupa/Concur/NetSuite.

  • A strong understanding of US GAAP.

The full salary range* for this role is €44,000 to €51,800 to €59,900 EUR.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
