Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join sales team in Canada!


What your team does:
Our Sales Team, Canada team is rapidly growing and focused on driving Clio value for law firms of all sizes all across the country. This team consists of BDRs and AEs of all segments as they generate pipeline, forecast opportunities, evaluate technical product fit, and partner towards solutions to complex business problems by working cross functionally with Channel, Marketing, Product, Solutions Engineers and more. They are human and high performing; while also working with an owner's mindset to drive Clio’s development of the #1 cloud based solution for Canadian firms.


What you’ll work on:

  • Day-to-day management, coaching and mentorship of your Sales Team (BDRs and SMB AEs)

  • Hold team accountable to attainment metrics and KPIs

  • Advise on strategic deals and negotiations; join negotiations as required

  • Deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual MRR and opp generation target for your team


What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience leading an inside sales team (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years closing large, complex deals with multiple stages in the SaaS industry

  • High performing in previous roles

  • Adaptable and growth oriented mindset open to feedback both delivering and receiving

  • History of coaching high-performing teams who are motivated to do better and think bigger as a result of your leadership.


Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in the legal industry

  • Experience selling an operating platform

  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment

  • Maintain accurate salesforce data for your team and provide reliable forecast information to upper management;

  • Actively participate in territory planning, opportunity development and in-territory events for your team and the Canada segment

  • Run pilot projects and experiments that help your team and the segment level up

  • Diligent use of sales tools (Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, ScratchPad, ZoomInfo, Sales Nav, Gong, etc.)

  • Recruit, hire, onboarding and provide continued training to meet headcount needs, increase efficiency and attainment of team

  • Lead by example on all issues pertaining to sales team management;

  • Expertly manage day so that time can be split between team management and other segment and leadership initiatives

  • Collaborate with sales leadership and our extended cross-functional teams to represent the Canada segment comprehensively to the business including in strategic planning with solution engineering, marketing, CS, product, enablement, GTM, finance, legal, security, etc.

  • Lead and support cross-functional Team Canada initiatives and segment all-hands

The full salary range* for this role is $89,800 to $112,200 to $134,600 CAD and the full commission range is $89,800 to $112,200 to $134,600 CAD. The opportunity to earn commissions beyond the stated amounts are possible as commission earnings are uncapped.

We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
