Summary:

We are currently seeking our first Channel Sales Lead to join our Channel team in EMEA! This role will be based in the Greater London area. This role will also involve travel within the UK and also occasional international travel for meetings and events.

What your team does:

Our Channel Partnerships team drives our business development effort through strategic partnerships with Clio Consulting Partners. They leverage existing relationships and build new partnerships with firms consisting of Law Consultants, IT Consultants, Managed Service Providers, Accountants/Bookkeepers, and SEO/Marketing Consultants.

Who you are:

You are a strategic thinker and relationship builder, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record in sales. Your core focus will be to strategically build relationships with current, and potential consulting partners while also managing a pipeline of incoming leads from the Clio partner network.

What you’ll work on:

  • Establish strong relationships with key partners, understand their business goals, and find the “win, win, win” for them, Clio and our common customers.

  • Identify high-value partners and collaborate closely with them to create joint plans. These plans should aim to generate partner-sourced revenue opportunities for Clio and boost product and service revenue for partners.

  • Act as a liaison between partners and the Clio Sales team, and as a member of the “deal team” to optimize the conversion of partner referrals.

  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings as required

  • Act as a leader on the team and contribute to the development and execution of Clio's overall partner strategy.

  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the EMEA region, including identifying and entering new territories.

  • Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide optimal support for partners in the EMEA region.

  • Work with marketing resources to support our partners with joint GTM and co-marketing activities

  • Identify and source new strategic partners that expand and strengthen Clio’s Partner ecosystem via inbound follow-up and outbound outreach.

  • Express and articulate our product vision, roadmap, strategies to internal and external partners.

  • Drive and lead efforts to increase internal and external awareness of our channel development initiatives, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Finance as needed.

What you may have:

  • 5-7 years of experience specifically working with Channel partners in mid-market technology sales, or in a comparable role;

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with revenue targets;

  • Managed a team or held a leadership role;

  • Possesses a network of partners ideally suited for Clio’s Channel Program;

  • Experienced in working with partners across the EMEA region;

  • Deeply data-driven, naturally curious, and passionate about working with others to drive growth;

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (or similar);

  • Meticulously organized and task-driven;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communicator;

  • Self-motivated, independent, and deadline-oriented.

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Good understanding of SaaS at scale
