Clio is more than just a tech company–we are a global leader that is transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Clio is transforming how lawyers manage their practice, and we’re seeking a Senior Events Program Manager to join our Marketing team. We offer a hybrid work environment and are open to hiring this person out of one of our hub locations (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto) or remotely across Canada and the U.S.

As a Senior Events Program Manager, you will create and lead the execution of the plan to drive registrations, attendees, and achieve ticket revenue targets for the Clio Cloud Conference, the best conference in legal. You’ll work as part of the ClioCon core team to contribute to the conference’s vision, execution, and our attendees' experience. You will work closely with the Marketing team and internal customer-facing teams to map out and execute the plan to hit our registration numbers and ticket revenue targets.

What your team does:

Who you are:

You love bringing order to chaos and keeping many tasks on track.   • Manage the event lifecycle from start to finish, including sponsorship payments, event goal-setting, event logistics, and ongoing corresponding marketing materials and campaigns;

  • Get the right content, context, and details to conference organizers and internal staff, and track relevant logistical details and budgets;

  • Make recommendations and proactively measure and report on portfolio performance against marketing targets and the portfolio’s overall impact on the business;

  • Run high profile or key areas of the program independently of your manager and surfacing complex problems, constraints, bandwidth issues, and/or financial requirements for input and approval;

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities at once, with the capacity to execute against the details of upcoming events while also looking ahead and executing against future events;

  • Solicit and aggregate market intelligence, as well as feedback from staff, partnership teams, demand generation, and other key stakeholders, to incorporate into a strategy and plan around how we improve the portfolio’s impact year over year;

  • Manage external vendor relationships and contract lifecycles, including vetting and presenting solutions to management that maximize ROI and overall efficiency;

  • Engage in team and company-based initiatives and discussions; understand how to intertwine, influence, and provide value adds to other areas of the business through your expertise and work;

  • Travel as required;

  • Additional duties as required.

What you may have:

  • 5+ years in event management and/or marketing program management, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment

  • A proven track record of knocking goals out of the park by leading cross-functional efforts

  • A passion for making sense of multiple moving pieces and can meet deadlines without fail
