Big Viking Games is a live service game studio focused on operating and scaling enduring virtual worlds. We run profitable, long life portfolio games with disciplined live operations, data driven decision making, and a relentless focus on player experience and monetization performance.

FishWorld is a core live revenue driver within our portfolio and requires strong commercial ownership, experimentation rigor, and operational excellence.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager, FishWorld to operate the game as a business.

This role owns day to day revenue performance, in game economy health, content monetization strategy, and live operational execution. You will manage experimentation across pricing, promotions, currency systems, and visual merchandising while partnering cross functionally with engineering, art, analytics, marketing, and AI teams.

This is a hands on commercial operator role. You are accountable for measurable performance outcomes.

Commercial & Revenue Ownership

  • Manage day to day revenue performance and forecast accuracy
  • Define and execute in game commerce strategy
  • Optimize pricing models including reactive pricing
  • Own experimentation across monetization levers and promotional visuals
  • Monitor and report on in game economy and gambling mechanics health
  • Translate monetization insights into revenue growth actions

Live Operations & Content Execution

  • Manage high velocity content release schedules
  • Create and maintain monthly product roadmaps
  • Prioritize developer tasks for feature development and live operations
  • Allocate art and development resources to highest revenue impact areas
  • Set goals and output expectations for the Live Content Management team
  • Oversee data workflows that support content generation

Experimentation & Analytics

  • Design and organize A B testing across currency levers, promotions, and feature releases
  • Develop insights from content, economy, and monetization data
  • Use dashboards and SQL where required to validate performance hypotheses
  • Ensure structured testing discipline with clear KPIs and decision frameworks

Player Experience & Issue Resolution

  • Manage live in game issues including bug prioritization and reimbursement strategy
  • Review and synthesize player feedback into actionable product improvements
  • Balance short term revenue optimization with long term player retention

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Art, Analytics, Marketing, and AI teams
  • Work within SCRUM frameworks to ensure efficient sprint delivery
  • Oversee communications strategy aligned with content rollouts
  • Contribute departmental goals that align with company level objectives
  • Coach, mentor, and onboard Live Content Managers

Must Have Experience

  • Proven experience managing in game microeconomies
  • Experience operating fast paced live content environments
  • Experience in SaaS style feature development cycles
  • Strong working knowledge of SCRUM and sprint planning
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude for workflow optimization
  • Strong cross functional stakeholder management
  • Experience implementing reactive pricing strategies

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on live service games
  • Experience migrating users to new platforms
  • Experience with Snowflake dashboards and SQL querying
  • Experience with Adobe Animate
  • Regular in-person collaboration with a high-performing, passionate team of gamers at our downtown Toronto office.
