By investing in our Vikings and in new technologies, we can continue our success for years to come.
We are embarking on an adventure and rely on our team of skilled, enthusiastic, and collaborative Vikings to turn our ship towards a new horizon.
About the Role:
We’re building something big—a new, real-time multiplayer social game from the ground up using Unity. Designed to scale across platforms and deliver rich, engaging live experiences, this game blends immersive customization, social gameplay, and event-driven economies.
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the product vision, roadmap, and player experience for a brand-new title. You’ll work cross-functionally to define what makes this game sticky, scalable, and successful—from first-time user experience (FTUE) to monetization to live operations.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where your work will directly shape how players experience and connect in this world. You’ll be joining a team of industry leaders in massive multiplayer online (MMO) development and live operations, with a proven track record of building thriving, long-lasting game communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle of a new social MMO game—from concept through launch and beyond.
- Define the core gameplay loop, feature set, and player progression systems in partnership with design, art, and engineering leads.
- Build and maintain a clear product roadmap that balances FTUE, monetization, scalability, and player delight.
- Prioritize development efforts using player insights, market trends, and business goals.
- Own and optimize the first-time user experience to drive long-term engagement and retention.
- Develop and implement monetization systems including in-app purchases, subscriptions, VIP programs, and live event-driven economies.
- Use analytics to measure player behaviour, inform product decisions, and iterate rapidly.
- Stay on top of industry trends and emerging mechanics in social and MMO games to inform strategic direction.
- Work closely with product marketing and community to support growth, engagement, and player communication strategies.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to plan for phased content releases, live events, and game evolution post-launch.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of product management experience in the gaming industry, ideally in live-service, MMO, or social games.
- Demonstrated success shipping and scaling products zero-to-one.
- Strong understanding of Unity development or similar engines.
- Experience crafting user-centric onboarding and retention strategies.
- Proven ability to balance creative vision with business and technical realities.
- Keen attention to detail, so you'll notice that we've asked you to mention 'Kattegat' in your application.
- Deep understanding of game monetization, engagement systems, and live ops.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to make product decisions and measure success.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills—able to unite cross-functional teams behind a vision.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience launching new games (especially social or MMO titles) from scratch.
- Familiarity with platforms like Xsolla, Stripe, or Coda for IAP and payment infrastructure.
- Strong grasp of player psychology and behaviorual design.
- Comfort operating in agile, fast-moving teams.
- Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and vision) including Health + Wellness spending account
- Generous time off policies
- Competitive salary
- Group RRSP matching & participation
- Participation in Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
We’ve built and scaled some of the most beloved live-service games in the industry—and now we’re doing it again. If you’re looking to build something new, shape the player experience from day one, and work with a team that truly understands MMOs and live ops, we’d love to meet you! Apply now.
