The Internal Tools team builds custom tools to increase quality of life for other ‘Bits (that's what we call each other here at 1Password)! We focus on building apps, extensions, and tools that support other teams, and help them do their jobs faster, more efficiently, with higher quality and at larger scale. This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This position will be for 4 months - January 2024 to April 2024.

What you can expect:

Implement apps and tools that increase the quality of life for your colleagues
Write features, fix bugs, and create improvements in existing tools
Collaborate across teams and departments to discover their daily pain points

Bonus points for:

Experience writing JavaScript/TypeScript, especially with React or in Node
Experience writing browser extensions
Experience writing command-line applications
Experience doing user research or writing project plans

The most important thing you can bring to this job is the drive to dive in, get the work done, and fix root causes instead of treating symptoms.
