What you will do:
The Finance Manager is a hands-on individual contributor role that will develop a deep understanding of the North American Realty business segment and uncover insights that drive the business. They will work independently to develop rigorous financial plans as well as analyze and report results in a deadline focused environment. They will provide business finance partnership and expertise to leaders in their respective areas and create financial models to assess business impacts and financial ROI of projects and new lines of business. The position requires a high degree of initiative, collaboration, professional curiosity, problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and superior communication skills.
How you will make an impact:
  • Act as the lead finance partner for North American Realty businesses, collaborating with executives to drive business growth.
  • Develop rigorous financial planning and guidance, measure results against forecasts and provide insights on variances that lead to business actions and forecasting improvement.
  • Conduct industry and competitor financial analysis and communicate findings to finance and business leadership.
  • Create financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and financial reporting, including decision models and pro-forma financial statements.
  • Partner with growth teams to drive agent growth initiatives through financial analysis, modeling, and decision support.
  • Gather information from prospective brokerage owners and large teams to develop financial models and profit and loss statements.
  • Develop and streamline FP&A processes that leverage use of financial tools such as Oracle, Tableau, Excel, and proprietary systems.
  • Develop and improve FP&A and cross-functional processes to enhance collaboration, efficiency, accuracy, and communication of information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in FP&A or similar analytical role.
  • Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, good business acumen and excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP standards.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to challenge and handle conflict comfortably.
  • Proactive, anticipating challenges and staying ahead of work requirements.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
