About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager who can help drive product clarity, execution, and customer value at zipBoard. This is a unique early-stage PM role that blends product strategy, product operations, UX writing, documentation, and light customer success enablement.
If you love bringing order to chaos, turning ideas into clear requirements, writing great documentation, and working directly with engineering and customers - this role is perfect.
*What You’ll Own
*Product Management
- Translate customer problems and founder vision into clear PRDs
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
- Prioritize roadmap items and run backlog grooming
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure smooth execution
- Assist QA by clarifying flows and writing test-ready requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience and reduce friction
*Product Operations

- Set up repeatable processes for planning, launch, and iteration
- Facilitate weekly product rituals (standups, grooming, reviews)
- Track delivery, timelines, and cross-team alignment
- Ensure documentation exists for SR&ED-eligible work and experiments
*UX Writing & Design
*
- Draft UI messaging (tooltips, onboarding steps, modals)
- Review UX for clarity and consistency
- Use existing figma templates to build features
*Documentation & Customer Enablement
*
- Own all Help Center articles
- Write release notes, changelogs, and internal product documentation
- Create onboarding guides, feature walkthroughs, and simple videos/scripts
- Support customer success with product knowledge materials
*Customer Insights
*
- Join customer calls when needed
- Document insights and convert them into actionable product updates
- Help improve onboarding, adoption, and activation patterns
*What We’re Looking For
*
- 2–5 years as a Product Manager, PM associate, or hybrid PM/Writer/Designer
- Strong writing skills & communication skills
- Ability to break complexity into simple flows
- Experiment using AI for both features and processes
- Experience with SaaS, B2B products
- Ability to work independently and create structure in ambiguity
Bonus:
- Familiarity with AEC, e-learning, or tech documentation workflows
