Here at Zensurance, we've designed a training program for new talent seeking a rewarding career in Commercial Insurance Sales and Service. We're hiring 10 individuals to become Brokers for our New Business, Renewals, and Accounts teams. No previous insurance experience is required - we provide all the training you need!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a client-centric professional who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns to our customers. This opportunity also includes access to a variable pay incentive program which financially rewards performance quarterly.

TRAINING DATES: September 9, 2024 to October 25, 2024.

What you can expect from the training:

  • Paid 7-week remote training program.
  • During the first 2 weeks, you will receive private Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) training (paid for entirely by Zensurance) to prepare you to write the RIBO exam and obtain your RIBO license.
  • After passing your RIBO exam, you will join the Zen Academy, a 5-week training program focused on providing the foundational skills to be a successful Commercial Insurance Broker at Zensurance.

You'll do some of the following:

  • Study for and successfully pass the RIBO license exam.
  • Handle insurance leads provided to you.
  • Assess the needs of potential clients to advise on coverage requirements.
  • Continually engage leads to convert requests for insurance into customers.
  • Offer continuous support from quote to bind to deliver a seamless client experience promptly.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our insurance products and help clients with any questions.
  • Recommend operational improvements in our processes to help further improve the overall customer experience.
  • Provide weekly flow updates to elevate the programs and pricing.

Your qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience (transferrable industries include retail, hospitality, sales, call center, and more!).
  • Passion for Sales and Customer support.
  • Continually meet set targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time.
  • Constantly seeking out new ways to learn.

About our Sales Teams and opportunities:

  • As a New Business Broker, you will support the Sales function by handling insurance leads provided to you by Zensurance. You will offer continuous support from quote to close to deliver a client-centered sales experience.
  • As an Accounts Broker, you deliver exceptional service that is core to our values. In this role, you'll communicate effectively with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and make recommendations accordingly.
  • As a Renewals Broker, you will be responsible for retaining our existing clients and going above and beyond with insurance recommendations. This is an opportunity to wow our client at the Renewal stage.
