We're on the lookout for a driven, sales-focused Commercial New Business Broker to join our growing British Columbia New Business Team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success with the customer’s.
You'll work remotely, supporting clients across the province during PST hours.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you'll own the inbound lead process and focus on converting them into long-term clients. This role provides a high volume of leads and requires top-tier sales ability, sharp time management, and deep commercial insurance knowledge.
The best part? There's no cold calling or prospecting required. We provide all the leads and accounts for you!
Responsibilities:
- Drive New Business: Continually engage leads provided to you by Zensurance to convert requests for insurance into customers.
- Client Consultation: Evaluate the needs of prospective clients to make expert recommendations on necessary coverages.
- Seamless Service: Provide continuous support from quote to sale to ensure a seamless client experience within set timelines.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our insurance products and educate clients on their policy coverages and needs, breaking down complicated concepts into simpler terms.
- Operational Improvement: Recommend operational changes to our processes to support further improvement of the overall customer experience.
- Collaboration: Connect with external stakeholders (underwriters, insurance companies) and work as part of the team to achieve shared goals.
- Reporting: Provide weekly flow updates to enhance programs and pricing.
Requirements:
- Licensing & Experience: You must hold a valid BC Level 2 or 3 license and have 3+ years of commercial broking experience. A RIBO license is a definite asset.
- Sales Drive: You have the ability to handle a large volume of inbound leads with the drive and persistence to convert them into clients, meeting set targets.
- Workflow Efficiency: Proven ability to utilize a BMS or other digital tools to streamline your workflows and manage high-volume client data.
- Communication: You're able to communicate complicated concepts clearly and break them down into simpler terms for clients.
- Focus & Agility: You show attention to detail, strong organization, and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time.
