We are seeking a dynamic Senior Brand Manager to elevate Zensurance's brand presence in the insurance industry.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be the guardian of our brand identity, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across all communication channels. You'll work hand-in-hand with our internal marketing team, collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and external partners to develop and execute innovative brand strategies that amplify Zensurance's recognition and reputation. Your experience with B2C marketing will be key in crafting campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement.
Your expertise will be instrumental in defining our brand's positioning, crafting compelling narratives, and developing comprehensive brand guidelines that inform and inspire our marketing efforts across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the positioning of Zensurance as the premier commercial insurance broker for small businesses, driving brand awareness and preference.
  • Own and evolve the Zensurance brand identity through compelling creative direction, ensuring consistent messaging across social media, video, advertising, and traditional media channels.
  • Establish and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic, guiding creative design decisions to reinforce brand recognition.
  • Analyze competitor landscape, conduct market research, and define brand metrics (awareness, engagement, sentiment) to inform data-driven strategies.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional marketing teams to develop a unified and impactful messaging strategy for both customer and employee audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leverage external insights to create a comprehensive brand playbook and guidelines.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of multimedia campaigns, providing clear creative direction and ensuring alignment with brand values.
  • Design and implement surveys to measure brand perception across employee, consumer, and customer segments.
  • Develop a framework of detailed customer personas, segmented by demographics and geography, to enable targeted and personalized messaging.
  • Partner with the marketing team and external agencies to identify and execute impactful brand media opportunities.
  • Define and articulate the brand's core values, mission, and strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to conduct creative testing, ensuring brand consistency throughout the user experience.
  • Oversee advertising channels (social media, paid search, PR, web design) and contribute creative input to optimize campaign performance.
  • Advocate for brand attribution across various stakeholders, quantifying the impact of brand initiatives on business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management.
  • Ability to measure and analyze data to develop insights.
  • Experience providing guidelines and direction for creative strategy and process.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative user research theory and testing experiences are assets.
  • Experience with paid media platforms, especially traditional media, and advertising, media buying is an asset.
  • B2C or small business B2B marketing experience.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to champion brand adaptation with buy in from multiple stakeholders.
