What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the VP, Global Customers or similar, the Principal Consultant, Business and Integration Services will play the role of aT rusted Advisor to Customers and Partners for creating and delivering enterprise-wide strategic roadmap for Zafin solution based on product capabilities and industry best practices.
Location: Toronto, Ontario
What will you do:
- Act as a subject matter expert and ensure that the requirements and solution design meet the key business objectives and are aimed at addressing key challenges of clients. Ensure Zafin value is being recognized across all client stakeholders
- Lead requirements elaboration and solution discussions for new/existing projects, contribute, lead and execute in defining implementation roadmap
- Review of key documents and releases to ensure that it meets quality standards and are aligned to the project needs and overall strategic goals of the customer
- Support enterprise governance structures, business processes and architecture framework that can be applied across functional and organizational boundaries
- Understand the “big picture” and how Zafin fits into the business and architectural framework at the client. Support integration and data layer elements of an implementation. Product and Domain Expertise
- Obtain a thorough understanding of our product suite and roadmap to consult and guide customers and partners
- Engage with our product team and provide inputs on client’s needs, challenges & initiatives for product improvements
- Contribute towards building domain expertise and knowledgebase in different areas of banking –Corporate, Retail and Wealth which can be leveraged across multiple accounts Leadership
- Develop objectives for the team to and help achieve accomplish company goals.
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure they are upskilled on product capabilities & implementation activities.
- Monitor team performance and identify training needs
- 20%-50%Travel required
What do I need to succeed?
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, engineering, science
- MBAs qualification preferred
- 15+ years work experience in financial software product companies, consulting and/or in banks
- Domain experience in Banking or Financial industry with exposure to pricing, billing and analytics
- Experience in implementation of enterprise wide solutions in large financial institutions
- Must have thorough knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, Iterative etc. Technical Skills
- Knowledge of banking architecture, interfaces, IT implementations and cloud based solutions
- Strong experience in project documentations elicit requirements and solutions approach in the form of functional specifications, use cases, UMLs, data dictionaries, class or entity relationship diagrams
- Experience in leading strategic IT initiatives in tier-1 banks
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate client / stakeholder workshops, walkthrough and working sessions
