Senior Specialist, Lifecycle Marketing

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Own day-to-day execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns (building templates, audiences, deployment, testing, reporting).
- Work closely with product marketing partners to develop and drive hyper-personalized omnichannel (email/ push/ in-app/ web & SMS) programs
- Partner with leadership to brainstorm quarterly lifecycle strategies that align with business objectives, product roadmaps, key performance goals, and strategic initiatives.
- Ideate & experiment on lifecycle strategies/tactics to drive activation, retention, engagement, and cross-sell of users within Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem (eg, promotions, incentives).
- Act as a dedicated SME to one or more business units; you will be the steward of lifecycle strategy and campaign performance for your assigned product(s).
- Become a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, influencing go-to-market strategies and advocating for best-in-class customer experiences through comprehensive briefs and strategic use of various channel mixes across Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data scientists & analysts to assess campaign and program performance; proactively surface data-informed opportunities for experimentation, personalization, or improvement; regularly report on program impact, client behaviours, and experimental results/learnings.
- Partner with lifecycle leadership to drive process improvements, create reusable playbooks, champion marketing automation best practices and leverage AI to drive efficiencies.
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or other strategic marketing roles; demonstrated experience executing day-to-day campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation technology (ex., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) with demonstrated ability to adapt to new tools and processes rapidly.
- A thoughtful, creative and critical thinker who follows a systematic and rigorous approach to problem solving.
- Strong understanding of customer/lifecycle marketing strategies, email marketing best practices, leveraging & activating customer data, targeting & treatment personalization, strategic cohorting & audience segmentation.
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as product marketing, product, creative, and data science, to create and execute against shared goals that are based on data-informed hypotheses.
- Scrappy and has a willingness to learn. Executing quickly to allow for continual iteration and experimentation are core principles of our team.
- Shipped end-to-end messaging campaigns. You incept an idea, see it all the way through to implementation and learn how to improve on it next.
- An understanding of key elements of acquisition, activation, engagement and retention strategies, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing (CRM), marketing automation and the metrics impacted.
- Able to digest ambiguous data sets and environments, communicate critical insights, and ask the right questions due to your robust analytical skillset.
- Naturally collaborative and empathetic — both with colleagues and on behalf of clients.
