Join our growing team and collaborate with leaders across Product, Operations, Engineering, Trading, Data Science, Risk, Compliance and Client Success to build and expand our innovative trading products: delivering best-in-class futures trading and prediction markets experiences for our clients.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
- Be a key member of the Derivatives clearing team, responsible for options, futures, and prediction markets lifecycle management across all three asset classes.
- Be responsible for daily execution of operational critical activities related to derivatives reconciliations, settlements, expiration, exercise & assignments, and first notice/delivery processes.
- Work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of client records and positions across options, futures, and prediction markets.
- Take ownership of critical trade and position reconciliations, escalating to the trade desk, counterparties and other teams as necessary to reduce risk.
- Handle options exercise & assignments reconciliations and postings, futures settlement and delivery processes, and prediction markets event resolution workflows.
- Support daily execution across the full derivatives lifecycle including confirmations, settlement, expiry, delivery and reconciliations for all product types.
- Assist with prediction markets operations including reconciliation, settlement processes, and event outcome verification.
- Troubleshoot, manage and proactively resolve reconciliation differences across multiple asset classes and platforms.
- Support risk management activities including client account monitoring, position offsetting, and concentration limit tracking.
- Use data to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to increase back-office operational efficiency.
- Assist with operational risk controls to protect client assets and meet regulatory standards across options, futures, and prediction markets.
- Support incident management processes and contribute to remediation efforts when issues occur.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and support regulatory reporting requirements.
What you'll bring:
- Have 1-3 years experience working at a broker-dealer handling back office reconciliation responsibilities for derivatives, options, futures, or securities operations
- Completion of or currently pursuing industry certifications (Series 3, CSC, DFOL, FLC etc.)
- String Excel/analytical skills and experience or familiarity with programming (especially SQL, Python) as a plus
- Knowledge of CFTC or OCC regulations and derivatives clearing processes preferred
- An understanding of or interest in prediction markets mechanics and settlement processes (experience with platforms like Kalshi, Polymarket a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work effectively across multiple asset classes
- Initiative in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- A passion for technology, specifically fintech and innovative financial products
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with large datasets while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent people skills and a positive attitude for working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Availability to support early and late hours in rotating shifts as required.
