About the Team
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is a specialized group focused on streamlining identity and access across our environment such that it is simplified, quick, reduces toil and decreases risk. Broadly, the team develops and maintains technology and platforms related to internal identity governance, data governance and secrets management. We create, enable and automate a comprehensive set of solutions and tools that enable the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times for the right reasons.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Elevate the data & identity governance tech stack in the org.
- Improve access requests via automation and seamless experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement controls and measures to streamline identity and access.
- Create automated data driven decisions for access controls and attestations.
- Reduce risk surface by defining applicable security policies and roles.
- Build bespoke solutions to enable safe and efficient secrets management.
Skills you bring:
- Experience with some of our key technologies: Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Typescript, React, React Native and Python.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and familiarity with things like RDS, Aurora, SQS, SNS, S3, Kafka, EKS, Redshift etc.
- Familiarity with authorizations methods like OAuth, OIDC, SAML etc.
- A security led mindset where you seek to build and ship secure solutions.
- Flexibility and creativity: you enjoy coming up with novel ways to solve problems and work through constraints.
- An inquisitive mindset: you have the desire to learn new skills, the ability to ask questions, and remain open to new ideas and perspectives.
- Value open communication and working on an exceptionally transparent, debate-and-feedback-driven team.
- Experience in and a desire to mentor fellow developers through pairing, code review, and in-the-moment feedback.
Nice to have:
- Data security experience and understanding of data exposure risks.
- Experience with Okta or other identity platforms.
- Exposure to data tools and stores.
