- Strategic Product Leadership:
- Lead Product Discovery, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and shaping a progressive Product Strategy that addresses clearly prioritized customer jobs to be done.
- Work closely with Engineering colleagues in the planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to achieve key business outcomes, aligning with the organization's strategic goals and establishing clear objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Align across product leads on strategic goals, corresponding initiatives, execution progress, and KPI tracking.
- Effectively communicate product updates and strategic direction to your team and a wide range of stakeholders.
- Customer-Centric Development:
- Be relentlessly curious to understand customer needs, motivations, and challenges, and apply sound research and analytic methods of discovery to uncover needs and prioritize initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with teammates in product, design, engineering, customer success, financial services operations, and data, leveraging your understanding of the fintech/financial services domain.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Partnerships:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Partnerships, and other product teams to deliver on initiatives.
You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:
- A passion for helping micro and small businesses become more successful, informed, and efficient.
- 3+ years of previous experience in software product management from where you were part of conception to launch and growth.
- Proven ability to distill information from customer and market research and use it to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Previous experience using and interpreting SQL from a database is an asset.
- Ability to build compelling narratives and communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- While you will likely be educated to / beyond first degree level, it is not mandatory.
- A history of entrepreneurship, ideally having personally created and operated a small business, side project, or social enterprise will be a strong asset.
