The Role at High Level:
We’re looking for a talented Onboarding Specialist who is excited to guide new partners through a smooth and effective onboarding experience. In this role, you’ll ensure our partners—such as accounting firms or resellers—are fully supported and confident in using Wagepoint’s products. You will report directly to the Onboarding Lead

What You'll Be Expected To Own:

  • Partner Onboarding Process: Manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new partners, including documentation collection, training, and addressing any roadblocks.
  • Training & Support: Deliver tailored training sessions (virtual or in-person) and provide ongoing support to partners to ensure they’re set up for success.
  • Resource Development: Create and maintain onboarding resources like guides, FAQs, and tutorials to make partner enablement easy and effective.
  • Issue Tracking & Resolution: Identify and resolve onboarding challenges promptly while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure onboarding aligns with company goals and partner expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track onboarding success metrics and incorporate feedback to continuously improve processes.
  • Daily Communication Standards: Maintain regular communication with assigned partners, ensuring follow-ups and updates are logged in our systems like HubSpot.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with partners.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, customer success, or payroll services.
  • Proficiency with onboarding tools and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with payroll products, compliance, and financial systems.
  • Previous experience in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think independently and a high level of adaptability.
Bonus points if:
  • You have experience working with accounting firms, resellers, or SaaS products.
  • You’ve developed onboarding documentation or training resources in previous roles.
  • You bring a growth-oriented mindset and aren’t afraid to propose new ideas or process improvements.
