You will…
- Perform daily site walk throughs to inspect our Toronto facility for safety and maintenance issues.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships as they relate to the facility.
- Provide basic user support, hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Oversee ticket management and documentation.
- Manage operations of a large fleet of high powered workstations.
- Monitor day to day maintenance and troubleshooting of the site; coordinating with contractors as needed along with managing and resolving service requests.
- Assist in swag inventory, ordering, design, and distribution.
- Ensure the smooth operation of our daily catering offering.
- Ensure new employees have a great onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with the facilities manager to manage budgets effectively.
- Create user accounts and manage shipments of equipment to employees and between sites.
- Cultivate and evolve Waabi’s culture by coordinating engaging events and celebrating essential team moments and milestones.
- Experience managing conference rooms and video-conferencing equipment.
- You will be required to engage in physical activities with accommodation - lifting and moving material up to ~50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to take ownership.
- Experience managing IT requests.
- Experience managing devices in a hybrid environment (Mac, Windows, Linux).
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
Bonus:
- Experience working with security systems.
- Experience with Juniper, Palo Alto or similar network equipment.
