Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) services to healthcare professionals and limited-English proficiency patients.
• Accurately interpret medical conversations, ensuring clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.
• Adhere to professional interpreting standards and ethical guidelines.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
• Proven experience as an OPI/VRI Medical Interpreter.
• Strong medical vocabulary and knowledge of healthcare terminology.
• Proficiency in using interpreting platforms and technology.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
