- Execute day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger
- Support treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment execution, account reconciliations, and vendor/customer communications
- Ensure timely and accurate payments and collections while maintaining strong internal controls and adhering to fraud prevention practices
- Contribute to month-end close processes by preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and provide support during external audits
- Respond to internal stakeholder requests for financial information and insights
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and operational needs
- Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable/payable or general accounting role
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Hybrid Work Details: We operate in a hybrid work environment, with employees primarily working remotely. This role requires in-office attendance on the second and third Wednesday of each month, as well as during critical periods such as month-end close and the annual audit. Additional in-office days may be required on an as-needed basis with reasonable notice. Our office is located at 100 Dundas Street, London, Ontario.
