Junior Software Developer (Internship)

About this position

This is a three month internship beginning September 2024. You will work directly with our Development team to write, develop, test and review code. This position includes remote and office work.

Responsibilities

● Software design patterns and practices, including writing better and cleaner codes

● Build web services that deliver across the web and mobile

● Assist in creating user friendly applications that will be used by contractors, operators, and governments

● Contribute to connecting the world with high-speed fiber networks

● Write unit tests for own work

Job Requirements

● Must be a current student in an Undergraduate degree or Masters program in a technical discipline (i.e. computer science, engineering, etc.)

● Basic understanding of DevOps

● React Native and/or Angular

● Python or other languages for writing backend APIs

● Up to date with the latest technologies

● Demonstrated passion for software development through Github and/or personal projects would be an asset

● Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and transition quickly between issues with minimal supervision
