POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented and tech-savvy IT Operations Administrator I to join our team at Canon Medical! In this role, you will work with internal stakeholders to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and business systems. You will track/resolve/document incidents to minimize downtime, assist in implementing system updates, and maintain security aligned with our best practices and organizational policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in-person and remote technical support, assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, resolve basic inquiries and issues promptly, implement predefined solutions, escalate complex problems when necessary, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, system outages, and basic business-impacting problems
  • Perform routine maintenance on end-user devices, such as updates, patches, and system optimizations, to ensure functionality and security
  • Document common technical issues, solutions, and processes to improve efficiency and support cross-functional knowledge sharing
  • Support the configuration, deployment, and basic monitoring of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Required

  • Diploma or certificate in information technology, systems information, or related field
  • Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Microsoft365 in the enterprise
  • Proven hardware component replacement and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, sometimes in high-demand situations

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) current branch
  • Basic familiarity with Intune or Jamf mobile device management
  • General grasp of server and desktop imaging best practices
  • Working knowledge of Sysprep, WinPE, and image deployment methods.
