We sell colour management software and a Bluetooth smart scale to professional salon owners around the world, helping them reduce waste, increase profitability, and run better businesses. We are defining the category, our customers span the globe, and we are entering an aggressive new-business growth phase. We are hiring a VP of Sales to build the engine that powers it.
The Impact You Will Have
Vish has a strong, established inbound sales team that is good at what it does. What we do not yet have is an outbound function: no team, no playbook, no structured process for reaching the salon owners who do not know Vish exists yet. You are being hired to build that from the ground up and to drive significant net new Monthly Recurring Revenue.
This is a builder's role for a hunter. You will lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver results rather than compete with your own reps for deals, while staying actively engaged in key closing activities to make sure the numbers land. It is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a machine and maintain it. It is for someone who has built outbound from zero, leads from the front, and turns their own hunter instincts into a repeatable engine.
What You Will Do
Build the Outbound Engine
- Develop and refine the existing North American sales motion, including the playbook, process, and pipeline development.
- Define the go-to-market strategy for reaching salon owners who have never heard of Vish.
- Design a sales cycle suited to busy, hands-on salon owners who buy on trust and results, and work to compress it.
- Stay actively engaged in key closing activities and deal strategy without displacing your reps' ownership
Drive Revenue and Performance
- Own and deliver significant net new Monthly Recurring Revenue through new business
- Drive consistent pipeline development, opportunity management, and forecast accuracy
- Lead a disciplined operating cadence of pipeline reviews and clean CRM hygiene
Build and Lead the Team
- Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain top-performing outbound sales talent
- Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, drive, and winning behaviours
- Set clear expectations, identify performance gaps early, and respond with structured coaching
Operate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with the inbound team, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align the full revenue motion
- Design the outbound compensation model, tooling, and budget alongside leadership and finance
- Deliver accurate, credible forecasts and reporting to the leadership team
What You Will Bring
- Significant B2B SaaS sales experience, with senior sales leadership experience (VP, Head of Sales, or Director).
- Genuine hunter credentials: a track record of personally winning and closing net new business, not just managing accounts.
- Demonstrated success building an outbound function or new-business motion from zero, including team, playbook, and process.
- A proven record of owning and delivering aggressive net new revenue and MRR targets.
- A coaching leadership style that develops people and lifts team performance.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS sales model, including subscription revenue, MRR, retention, and expansion.
- The judgment to understand that selling to owner-operated small businesses is different from enterprise selling, and the instinct for what that means in practice.
- Strong fluency with sales metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tooling such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and a clear point of view on how they improve sales performance.
- Comfort with the pace and ambiguity of building something from scratch in a fast-growing company.
