We’re Hiring: Accountant (SaaS / Tech)

We’re looking for a detail oriented, systems minded Accountant to join our growing team and help scale our finance operations in a fast paced software environment.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in strengthening our financial operations and reporting accuracy across multiple entities:

• Own accounts payable workflows (invoice entry, approvals, reconciliations)
• Perform monthly bank & credit card reconciliations
• Support and execute a timely month-end close, including:

Revenue reconciliations

Journal entries & postings

Accruals & prepaid schedules

Sales tax filings (Canada-focused)

• Prepare financial statements and internal reporting summaries
• Manage intercompany transactions & consolidations
• Assist with payroll processing, benefits calculations, and deductions
• Help optimize and document financial processes as we scale

Requirements

• BComm in Accounting or Accounting Diploma
• 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in SaaS, tech, or growth stage environments
• CPA in progress or completed
• Strong grasp of ASPE, IFRS, or GAAP
• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite and strong Excel or Sheets skills
• Solid understanding of Canadian payroll and sales tax
• Highly organized, detail driven, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines

Assets

• Multi entity or multi currency experience
• Exposure to US or international tax filings
• Experience with payroll or benefits systems
• Track record of improving finance processes in scaling companies
