Position Summary

Shape the future of education technology as the Divisional Vice President, Business Manager - Education Communication Systems for Rauland. In this highly visible leadership role, you will own the strategy, growth, and performance of our Education Communications business, driving revenue expansion, market leadership, and customer adoption across the K-12 market. Leveraging your industry expertise and relationships throughout the education ecosystem, you will identify emerging opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate growth through innovative solutions that help schools create safer, smarter, and more connected learning environments.

As a key member of Rauland's Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to shape the future of our education portfolio and deliver exceptional value to customers. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, this role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, champion innovation, and lead a business that is transforming communication and safety technologies for schools nationwide.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of leadership experience with accountability for business growth, revenue, profitability, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated success serving the K-12 education, education technology (EdTech), school safety, campus communications, educational infrastructure, or related markets.
  • Proven experience working with school districts, superintendents, facilities leaders, technology leaders, architects, consultants, contractors, and systems integrators.
  • Strong understanding of education funding, capital planning, construction and renovation projects, procurement processes, and technology adoption within schools.
  • Experience leading growth strategies, customer engagement initiatives, and product portfolio decisions within education-focused organizations.
  • Established industry network and credibility within the education ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI and data-driven insights to improve business performance and decision-making.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Background

  • Executive leadership experience in Education Technology (EdTech), School Safety, Campus Communications, Building Technologies, Security Systems, Low-Voltage Technologies, Educational Construction, or Infrastructure Solutions.
  • Established relationships within the education market and a strong understanding of school funding, capital planning, renovation, and new construction cycles.
  • History of successfully launching and scaling technology solutions that achieved measurable revenue growth and market adoption.
