Insight You Can Build On.
The SEM Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns to drive high-quality traffic and conversions. This role focuses exclusively on search engine advertising across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other regional search engines. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing budgets, keyword strategies, and campaign performance.
How you will make a difference @ FARO:
- Develop, implement, and manage SEM campaigns across search platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other regional engines as applicable.
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms, queries, and opportunities for campaign expansion.
- Write, test, and optimize ad copy to improve relevance, CTR, and overall performance.
- Coordinate with web and content teams to ensure landing pages align with campaign goals.
- Manage campaign budgets and pacing to achieve efficiency and ROI targets.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using approved analytics and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign structure, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation.
- Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure SEM efforts support broader digital initiatives.
- Stay informed on SEM platform updates, best practices, and emerging capabilities.
This position requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing SEM campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in executing and optimizing paid search programs.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
