Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of new features and products that enhance audience engagement. This role is crucial to providing value to our customers and driving new revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a keen business sense, and a passion for identifying opportunities to help the media industry thrive by improving audience interaction and loyalty. Background and experience in the digital publishing and media industries is a big plus.
- Work closely with our customers and partners to identify and develop solutions that drive audience engagement and retention.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for new features, from problem discovery and solution ideation to launch and impact measurement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, client success, and sales, to develop and deliver innovative solutions to our market.
- Identify and prioritize customer needs, translate them into validated solutions, develop product requirements, and prioritize on a roadmap.
- Develop strategies to enhance user interaction and community building within our platform.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the product line on audience engagement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and ensure the product offering remains ahead of industry trends.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the product delivers real value to our clients and their audiences.
- Collaborate internally to create go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in audience engagement and apply relevant innovations to our product offerings.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of product management, or equivalent practical experience.
- A willingness to actively develop product management skills in a self-directed way.
- Strong understanding of the media industry, including the unique challenges and opportunities it presents for audience engagement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive product success.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to stay at the forefront of audience engagement and product management trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a SaaS environment.
