Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the discovery of new features and products that leverage our large data sets in new and innovative ways. This role is crucial to providing value to our customers and driving new revenue streams using Viafoura’s new and existing data sets, in ways that will be unmatched by our competitors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a keen business sense, ability to work closely with data engineers and data scientists, a deep understanding of AI technologies and LLM models, and an enthusiasm for doing the hard work of discovering new opportunities to help the media industry thrive. Background and experience in the digital publishing and media industries is a big plus.
  • Work closely with our customers’ data teams and our partners (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Blueconic, ArcXP, etc.) to identify and develop a range of data products and solutions that leverage Viafoura’s unique datasets and capabilities for integration with CDPs, data lakes, GAM, CMS, or other business intelligence systems
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for new data products, from problem discovery, solution ideation, to launch and beyond.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and data usage terms
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data, design, client success and sales, to develop and deliver innovative solutions to our market.
  • Identify and prioritize customer needs, translate them into validated solutions, develop product requirements and prioritize on a roadmap
  • Develop strategies and tools to leverage GenAI and LLMs to address key challenges in the media industry.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the product line.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and ensure the product offering remains ahead of industry trends.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the product delivers real value to our clients.
  • Collaborate internally to create go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in GenAI and LLM technologies, applying relevant innovations to our product offerings.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A willingness to actively develop product management skills in a self-directed way
  • Experience in developing and launching AI-driven products and features, particularly those involving GenAI and LLMs.
  • Strong understanding of the media industry, including the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive product success.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to stay at the forefront of AI and product management trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in AI and machine learning, particularly as they apply to content creation, audience engagement, and operational efficiency in media.
