We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Montreal-based client for a permanent role. By working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will be responsible for defining business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the IT team. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving our business forward by improving processes, products, and services through data analysis.
This is a hybrid role, and the candidate must work from the Montreal office 3 days/ week.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the IT team.
- Reporting: Develop clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Wireframe Development: Design and create detailed wireframes to visually represent user interfaces and workflows, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends and benchmark company performance against competitors.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Dynamic and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Knowledge of business process modeling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
