Veriday Inc, is seeking a a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join the product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, accessibility testing, and manual testing of software products. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by leading the testing efforts and implementing best practices in test automation and accessibility compliance. The incumbent should have experience in Automation testing with a good understanding of using Selenium, Junit, Arquillian and Cucumber tools.


What will you do?

  • Lead & participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead a team of QA professionals with experience in test automation, Accessibility testing and manual testing

Test Automation:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various testing scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.
  • Identify and implement tools and frameworks to enhance test automation capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Accessibility Testing:

  • Conduct accessibility testing to ensure our products meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to incorporate accessibility best practices in the design and development stages.
  • Provide training and guidance to the team on accessibility testing techniques and tools.
  • Document and report accessibility issues and track their resolution.

Manual Testing:

  • Perform thorough manual testing of new features and regression testing of existing functionality.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Execute test cases, document results, and log defects in the defect tracking system.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited institution with 5 years of relevant experience as QA Analyst/Lead in a financial services domain.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of QA and Software Testing methodologies and practices;
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, JAWS).
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test script development.
  • Proficiency in all levels of testing like (functional, end to end, exploratory, regression) - manual & automation testing.
  • Experience in working with QA life cycle - designing and creating test cases, and test scripts for functional testing,
  • Experience testing web-based applications and integration end points (API)
  • Experience working in a highly integrated, multi-project environment;
  • Detailed-oriented personality complimented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal communications;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, be self-motivated, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable communicating and working directly with external customers.
