About Our Co-Op Program

Nasdaq’s Verafin's co-op program is designed to give students real exposure to how global markets and technology come together. Our students work on meaningful projects alongside Nasdaq Verafin teams, gaining hands-on skills that make an impact on the business.

We believe the best way to learn is by doing - that’s why you’ll be paired with a mentor, connected with senior leaders, and included in professional development sessions. You’ll also join a diverse global student community, sharing experiences and building networks that last beyond the program.

Graphic Design Student (May 2026)

At Nasdaq Verafin, you’ll have the chance to start your career in an environment where learning, teamwork, and innovation come first. In this role, you’ll work closely with a wide range of marketing specialists and sales professionals each day, collaborating to solve real marketing challenges and contribute creative solutions that support key business goals.

You don’t need to know everything on day one - we’ll help you build the skills, confidence, and network to grow your career.

What You'll Do

• Create visual branding content for Nasdaq Verafin, including materials that support lead generation and marking campaigns.

• Collaborate and brainstorm with other designers on creative projects from concept to completion.

• Attend team meetings and provide regular updates on assigned projects, while meeting deadlines.

• Research new design skills, tactics, and trends to bring fresh ideas to the team.

• Use your design skills across various formats and platforms to support marketing goals.

What We're Looking For

• Students currently pursuing a degree or diploma in graphic design, or related college program.

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects).

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and openness to feedback and collaboration.

• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or interactive multimedia.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and WordPress

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

This position is located in St. John’s, NL, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
