Verafin - AVP Partner Business Development
Verafin
Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Nasdaq Verafin, the AVP of Partner Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving strategic revenue growth through the development and management of high-impact distribution partnerships to expand the reach of Verafin’s Fraud and AML platform into new segments and markets.
This position requires exception business development skills, relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute complex partnership distribution strategies in the dynamic financial technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Development: Identify, develop and sign new partners to expand Verafin’s reach into target segments and markets.
Partner Activation: Coordinate full cycle partner activation: pipeline generation, deal progression, and closing activities.
Revenue Generation: Deliver annual and quarterly booking and revenue targets through partner portfolio.
Partner Relationship Management: Own partner relationships, drive performance, forecast accuracy, and booking and revenue growth.
Joint GTM Execution: Build and execute joint account plans, campaigns, and co-sell motions with partners and internal stakeholders.
Pipeline and Forecast Discipline: Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, report on partner pipeline, forecast, and attainment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product etc. to accelerate partner-driven opportunities.
Required Qualifications
7-10+ years in channel sales, partnership business development, or partner account management, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or fraud/AML solutions.
Demonstrated success in exceeding booking and revenue goals through partner ecosystems.
Experience in recruiting, enabling, and managing high-performing partners.
Deep understanding of co-selling motions and partner pipeline management.
Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce and partner management tools (PRM, co-sell tracking).
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Experience with SaaS products, fraud and AML solutions.
Established network across fraud/AML, payments, fintech, banking.
This position will be located in New York, Toronto, or St. John’s and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $143,000 - $279,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
