Senior DevOps Engineer

Your role and responsibilities:
- Automate and codify a highly scalable AWS stack.
- Enhance our infrastructure to help reduce costs and optimize for performance and stability.
- Guide, advise and teach the existing team about DevOps.
- Build reusable tools that other teams will use for deployment and provisioning virtual machines.
- Don’t just fight fires, prevent them.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including off-hours and holiday.
- Become familiar with and improve existing systems and processes, with a focus on automation, continuous deployment and site reliability.
We expect you to have :
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of DevOps experience and must have worked with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure (Azure, Google, etc).AWS preferred. Cloud certification is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform.
- Experience with building and maintained CICD pipelines (Gitlab), Kubernetes deployments and administration (EKS, helm, istio).
- Seasoned in Linux administration.
- Knowledge configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible etc) a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages related to systems administration (shell, python etc), automation and package management.
- Familiar with cloud security, cloud InfoSec best practices and networking.
- Familiar with monitoring systems and tools, cloud-provided or otherwise self-hosted such as Datadog, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, etc.
- Have high standards. Help us achieve and maintain uptime of 99.99%
- Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science.
It would be great if you :
- Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
