We are seeking a high energy and innovative professional to join the Financial Technology Financial Planning & Analysis team. As our new Sr Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Financial Technology P&L management and reporting, planning, and analysis processes providing insight and transparency of revenue and expenses for business leads. Additionally, you will lead or participate in financial analysis in support of Financial Technology strategic priorities, including analysis of various products and initiatives. You will be a significant contributor to the Finance Team’s strategy and improvement of work procedures and processes.
To be successful in this role, you need to be a diligent, and well-organized individual who is accustomed to taking the initiative and prepared to take the lead on daring assignments of importance to Financial Technology.
What will you do:
- Manage the full product P&L with allocated expenses- support Product heads with the analysis of their products’ revenue, cost baseline, resource planning, and project costs
- Participate in monthly close and forecast activities to help drive business decision making
- Create & prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including commentary, and support business planning and control within the organization
- Lead the forecasting process for bookings, revenue, and product team expenses, understanding changes and drivers. Present variance analysis to senior leaders & recommend forecast actions
- Analyze critical metrics to identify trends and recommend further operational improvements
- Collaborate across Sales, Product, Client Success, Strategy, and Engineering organizations
- Build and maintain business cases and financial models for new investments and initiatives
- Assist in development, tracking, and maintenance of key performance measurement reporting
What will you need:
- University degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, accounting or business administration.
- Proven experience in finance, project accounting, auditing, management consultancy or similar.
- Shown understanding of accounting and knowledge in common controlling methods and models.
- Demonstrated financial knowledge including financial modelling, understanding revenue, cost and cash flow effects of different activities.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OneStream and/or other IT tools to perform Business and Financial Control functions.
- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills, having the ability to challenge when required.
